"Kiddieland: The End of the Ride" is an
independently produced video documentary featuring the
final series of events that occurred at the amusement park during
2009.
This is followed by the demolition and
redevelopment of the property into a Costco Warehouse
Club.
A website has been developed with all of
the photos, videos, historical information and collected
artifacts, showcasing all of the raw content to be used
in the production of this documentary.
We are
seeking public donations from all Kiddieland lovers and
the public in general for financial assistance in the
completion of this project.
All donors will have
their contributions acknowledged in the final production
credits.
Our goal is to provide the final
production to the world for free or at a reduced cost,
based on the level of financial support received from
donors.
We are not doing this to get rich... we
have aready spent a substantial amount of time and money
to bring this project to its current state of existence.
We are doing this to preserve a memory from our collective
childhoods.
We need financial assistance to help
pay for video editing, voiceover talent, stock photos,
content licensing and all of the other costs associated
with the production of a video documentary.
We
are also exploring the use of Artificial Intelligence
to help reduce the costs of production in certain areas.
The revolution of newer technologies in the years since
2009 have created a real opportunity for us to complete
this project at this moment in time.
The entire production is being produced
electronically with a minimal impact on the environment.
No film, chemicals or any other analog
production methods have been used in the production of
this project.
